Built for the Way
You Actually Train
The Cascade takes its name from the Cascade mountain range — a spine of volcanic peaks that defines the Pacific Northwest. We wanted a name that carried weight, that suggested both scale and precision. The board lives up to it.
Every hold position on the Cascade was mapped against real training protocols used by advanced climbers. The progression isn't random — edge depths step from open-hand warmup positions down to maximum recruitment crimps, with pockets distributed to target finger independence across all four fingers. You can run structured sessions or explore freely. The board adapts to how you train.
We use hard maple as our primary species — dense, consistent grain, and a surface texture that rewards skin conditioning without punishing it. Our walnut option is available for those who prioritize aesthetics. Both are finished with food-grade linseed oil and beeswax — a finish that protects the wood, maintains grip texture, and improves with age.

Hold Guide
Every Edge, Engineered
Crimps
10mm & 15mm edges
Maximum recruitment for contact strength and power endurance. The foundation of all finger training — builds what every hard move demands.
Slopers
Low-angle and steep variants
Open-hand, friction-dependent. Trains the entire hand and forearm synergistically. Essential for slab and volume movement.
Pockets
2-finger, 3-finger, mono
Isolated finger loading for targeted strength gains. Progress carefully — pockets demand tendon conditioning before heavy loading.
Open Hand
20mm & 25mm edges
The healthiest long-term grip position. Builds balanced finger strength without overloading the A2 pulley. Train this most.

Athlete Validation
"The variety on the Cascade is what sets it apart. Six months in and my crimp strength is at an all-time high."

Installation
Mounting Guide
-
Hardware included
All necessary mounting hardware ships with your Cascade.
-
Wall stud mount
Locate studs for maximum load. Board supports up to 300kg static load when properly mounted to solid wood.
-
Pull-up bar compatible
Mount to a standard 28–35mm pull-up bar using the included bar sleeve adapter.
-
~20 minutes
Typical installation time with basic household tools.
Maintenance
Care Guide
-
After each session
Wipe down with a dry cloth to remove chalk, skin oils, and moisture.
-
Monthly
Light dry brush with a stiff nylon brush to clear chalk from pocket depths.
-
Every 3 months
Re-apply a thin coat of linseed oil or beeswax. Buff dry. Preserves the wood and maintains grip texture.
-
Avoid direct sunlight
Prolonged UV exposure will fade and dry the wood. Indoor mounting recommended.
Sustainability
Every Cascade is made from responsibly sourced North American hardwoods. We partner with urban lumber reclamation programs to reduce waste and support local forestry — because the mountains we're inspired by deserve to still be standing.
